13 Days: OMG!

Can you believe that we're already at 13 days until sweet baby arrives?!

Well, we can't!

                                   

We're still busy with preparations like washing everything in site, installing the car seat, and working with the lawyer to ensure our paperwork is complete in time for TPR (Paperwork signed at 72 hours in MS to relinquish parental rights and consent to adoption. Stands for Termination of Parental Rights.).

I have my first (ever!) baby shower tomorrow, and I am so excited! My lovely friends Carrie and Audrey are hosting, and I can't thank them enough. This shower will be just a very small group of family and friends. Not only is the location small, but I'm a little hesitant to go "BIG" until baby is home. We are hoping to have a big celebration once he's home, and everyone will be invited. :)

In other news, I've been keeping pretty mum lately. I've got a lot of work to wrap up before baby comes, and I've been taking some much needed quiet time with David. If you haven't heard from me, don't be offended. If I'm not working on getting my clients squared away before baby comes, I'm usually holed up in the house looking a Hot Mess and being lazy.

33 Weeks: Slow but Fast

Sometimes I am amazed that there are less than 10 weeks left before Riley is here, but at the same time, some days go on forever.

We have less than 7 weeks left if you think about it. And I think about it.

All. The. Time.

So what's going on? Not a lot. It feels like the calm before the storm. I'm doing a final trip to Tennessee to see my colleagues at Masco Bath before my contract ends at the end of the month. It's going to be an emotional trip. I'm really going to miss working with the team. I can honestly say that they are some of the finest people on the planet.

We have my Noonday Adoption Fundraiser on Saturday the 29th, and I am so excited! In fact,  my Noonday Representative McCall has recently announced her family's decision to adopt from the Democratic Republic of Congo! You should check her blog here and tell her I sent you! Other than that, I'm staying fairly busy with my design business. I haven't been pushing as hard in the last week or so, because I have been so emotionally tied up in the adoption. But I feel a big surge of creativity coming on! I'm excited to begin some new projects. Here are two of my recent wraps:
