National Radio Day

Following the advice of a radio professional/friend, today's holiday (National Radio Day) was celebrated with an old classic called "WKRP in Cincinnati."

I remember watching this show in reruns when growing up, and I'm glad that Jared reminded me of it. I'm pretty sure this show played some part in my desire to go to school for Mass Communication.

Sadly, the only radio-themed TV (Hypocrisy, thou art my friend!) David is watching tonight is whatever his patients are watching as he checks their vitals and administers medicine. He did say that he listened to the radio on the way in to work.

Want to join us in our quest to celebrate silly holidays?  Here's a link to Hulu where you can watch full episodes of radio-y goodness with me:

Next up - Waffle Day! (An experiment with the George Foreman Grill)
