98 Days!

Like the total obsessive that I am, I am literally counting down the days until Little P'Wich is here. This weekend we passed the 100 day mark, and today marks 98 days, give or take a few.

What have we been doing in the meantime?

1.) Talking to the bank about a private loan to help fund the adoption. We'd love to raise our money by saving and fundraising, but we have to be prepared to do it one way or another. Keep your eyes peeled for a possible t-shirt fundraiser in the near future. We've also taken some advice from fellow adoptive parents and added a Paypal donation button to the sidebar. It's the yellow button to the right! Totally free to donate.

2.) Research. Research. Research. What carseat will we be buying (Chicco Keyfit)? What about baby wraps? Stroller?

3.) Communicating with each other. What will we do during the 72 hour waiting period following birth? FMLA for David or keep bringing the money in?

4.) Shopping! Tentatively. A few more purchases for the snugglebunny, such as jammies and onesies.

Needless to say, there is a lot going on behind the scenes here. We also want to thank everyone for the prayers and gifts and support. You have all been such an integral part of this journey,  and we thank you.
