Well, if you don't, you should! Here's an easy and cheap way to incorporate a monogram into your room.
Supplies:
Three slate panels with predrilled holes. (Walmart, Craft Section, $2.97 each)
Paint pen
Jute string
Letter templates
Pen
Steps:
1.) Print your letters to your desired size, making sure the middle letter (last name) is slightly larger.
2.) Cut the letters out carefully and trace them on your slate using a fine felt tip pen. It won't show later.
3.) Do a couple coats to ensure it is opaque.
4.) I cut the hangers off and rethreaded the slate with long strings of jute. We then attached cup hooks to our ceiling, two per plaque, and hung the slates.
They are very sturdy, but we did leave a good gap between the crib and wall just in case.
Hope you enjoy making a set for yourself!
